How to calibrate the LT1320 instrument

Calibration procedure

1. Make sure the scale is free to move and no obstruction underneath the frame.
2. Make sure the bolts are tight and in place.
3. Make sure the belt has no material on it to affect the calibration, don’t tough the frame during calibration.
4. Press and hold menu till belt weigher setup displays, then press enter again.
5. Go down to zero calibration and press enter.
6. Go down to start zero Cal and press enter.
7. Go to the right to highlight start, press enter.
8. Let the loading run finished, go to the right and press enter to accept new calibration.
9. Press back to go to the menu, go down to span calibration and press enter.
10. Put the weights on the frame on each side.
11. Go down to start span Cal and press enter.
12. Put in the weight that you have put on the frame, ex 40kg and press enter.
13. Wait for the loading to finish, go to the right and accept the new calibration.
14. Keep pressing back till out of all menus.
15. Check on the screen the b load must be the weight calibrated.
16. As the weights are taken off the b load must go down.
17. Run the belt to make sure that the SPD goes up and reads the speed of the belt.

Doing the correction factor

1. Write down the Ton on the scale on a paper and run the belt with material onto a truck and weigh it at the weighbridge and get the difference. Ex scale reads 20 T and the weighbridge reads 18T.
2. Do a quick calculation to get the percentage difference. Ex 18/20*100= 90%.
3. Press and hold menu till belt weigher setup displays, then press enter again.
4. Go down to C factor and press enter, enter the percentage calcultated and press enter. EX 90.
5. Press back until out of all menus.
6. Run test again to see how much closer the scale is and do some minor up and down till in acceptable range.
